Children’s Christmas Party

On Wednesday 4th December, we held our annual Christmas party for bereaved children using our services. Held at Tally Ho Training Centre, children and their families were invited for an evening of festive fun, where they could also mix with other children who understand what it is liked to lose a close family member at a young age.

A DJ got the party into full swing unleashing bursts of snow from a snow machine. Elsewhere was a chocolate fountain, sweet counter, face paining and glitter tattoos. Mickey Mouse put in an appearance, dancing Gangnam Style and the Macarena with Santa Claus. After a Conga around the room, party games got underway. Three rounds of musical chairs (two for children and one for adults) got everyone feeling competitive, and brought out some bad behaviour from the grown ups! After games of musical statues and bumps, Santa handed out presents with the help of his trusty elf. Image

Hopefully,we have added a few extra smiles and some Christmas cheer to an otherwise difficult time of year.
